Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how The Product Studio, operated by Telescope Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit our pages, submit an application, or book a call. We are a company registered in England and Wales and the data controller for the data described here. We use a third-party funnel and CRM platform, OpBot (opbot.io), to host our pages and manage leads. OpBot acts as our data processor and handles your data only on our instructions.
1. Information We Collect
When you complete our application form or book a call, we collect the information you provide: typically your name, email address, phone number, and your answers to our application questions (for example your business, your product, your experience with AI build tools, and your revenue stage). We also collect booking details such as the date, time, and status of your call. As you move through our process, we record a lead status, an internal qualification score based on your answers, and notes from your call. We keep records of the emails and text messages we send you and how you interact with them. We also collect basic technical data (browser type, device, pages visited, referral source, and campaign parameters) through cookies and analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to review your application, decide whether The Product Studio is a fit, route you to the right person, and book and prepare for your call. We use it to contact you by email and text message about your application, your call, and the program, and to follow up if you start an application or booking and do not finish it. We also use it to improve our pages and messaging, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
3. Legal Bases for Processing
We process your data under UK GDPR on these bases. Consent, where you agree to receive marketing emails or text messages, which you can withdraw at any time. Legitimate interests, to respond to your application, follow up on incomplete applications and bookings, run basic analytics, and protect our pages from abuse. Contract, where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, such as booking and preparing for your call. Legal obligation, where we must process data to comply with tax, accounting, and other requirements.
4. Email Communications
When you apply or opt in, we may send you emails about your application, your booking, and The Product Studio. Every marketing email includes a working unsubscribe link and identifies the sender, in line with UK PECR and the US CAN-SPAM Act. If you unsubscribe, we will stop sending you marketing emails, although we may still send essential messages about a call you have booked.
5. Text Message (SMS) Communications
If you provide your phone number and agree to receive text messages, we may send you SMS about your application and your call. We send text messages only with your consent. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and we will stop sending you marketing texts. We keep a record of your consent (including the time and method) and of your opt-out, so we can honor your choice and meet our compliance obligations. Text messages are delivered through a third-party provider on our behalf, and your phone number is used only to deliver these messages.
6. Cookies
Our pages use only the cookies that are strictly necessary to make them work, such as keeping your session active while you complete a form. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking on these pages. If we later add analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
7. Who We Share Your Data With
We share your data only with service providers who help us run our process, each of which is bound by appropriate data protection terms. OpBot (opbot.io) hosts our application pages and provides our CRM, email, SMS, and analytics, acting as our processor, and is based in the United States. OpBot's own sub-processors, which handle payment, email delivery, SMS delivery, calendar, database, and hosting, are listed in OpBot's privacy policy at opbot.io/privacy and are based in the United States. We may also disclose personal data where required by law, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
8. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United Kingdom. Our platform provider and its sub-processors are based in the United States, so your data will be transferred to and processed there. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or transfers to providers covered by an approved data transfer framework.
9. How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it. Application and lead data is kept while you are an active prospect and up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted or anonymized. Booking records are kept up to 24 months after the call. Email and SMS logs are kept up to 12 months. SMS consent records are kept longer where needed to meet our compliance obligations. Accounting records are kept up to 6 years, as required by UK law. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
10. Your Rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to how we process it, to receive certain data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time where our processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [privacy@YOURDOMAIN]. We will respond within one month. If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
11. California Residents
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email [privacy@YOURDOMAIN].
12. Children
The Product Studio is intended for adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
13. How We Protect Your Data
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, and we work only with providers who maintain recognized security standards, including encryption of data in transit and at rest. No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to it to those who need it.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the most recent revision. Where changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to bring them to your attention.
